These answers are here to offer clarity & reassurance about what the process is really like.
Hypnosis FAQs
Answers to common questions about hypnosis, how it works,
and how it may support positive change.
Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention that allows you to turn inward and connect more deeply with your subconscious mind. This can allow you to more easily accept helpful suggestions without conscious interference from unwanted patterns or beliefs.
Hypnosis feels different for each person. Some people feel deeply relaxed, while others feel simply calm, focused, or inwardly absorbed. Because it can feel subtle, it is common to wonder if you were hypnotized at all.
No. Hypnosis is not sleep or unconsciousness. Most people feel very aware during the session and remember much of the experience.
Yes. Hypnosis is a cooperative process, and you remain aware and involved. You cannot be hypnotized against your will.
No. Hypnosis is a natural state of focused relaxation, and you can return to ordinary awareness easily & naturally just like you wake up every morning.
No. During hypnosis, you remain aware and in control.
You cannot be made to reveal personal information or say anything against your will.
That is completely okay. Not everyone sees clear mental images. Some people receive information more through feeling, sensing, or simply knowing.
The most helpful approach is to relax, go with the flow, and stay open to whatever thoughts, feelings, or memories arise.
People may feel relaxed, alert, groggy, energized, lightheaded, or emotionally stirred afterward. T
hese responses can be normal as your mind and body settle after hypnosis.
That is a common response for some people. Even when the experience feels subtle, additional insights often continue to emerge afterward.
Hypnosis is generally understood as a natural, relaxation-based process that supports focus, inner awareness, and positive change. It is not a religious ritual or a satanic practice. That said, each person’s beliefs are important, and it is always okay to move forward only in a way that feels fully comfortable and aligned for you.
Quantum Hypnosis FAQs
Answers to common questions about the quantum hypnosis experience,
what to expect, and how sessions may unfold.
Quantum hypnosis is a guided process that uses relaxation and focused inner awareness to explore deeper levels of the subconscious. Sessions may bring forward imagery, memories, insight, symbolism, emotional understanding, or a deeper sense of inner guidance.
Both approaches are designed to help you access deeper states of awareness and explore meaningful inner experiences. QHHT is traditionally done in person and follows a specific method developed by Dolores Cannon, while BQH offers a more flexible approach and may be done online or in person.
Each session is unique. Some people experience vivid imagery or scenes, while others receive impressions, emotions, symbolic messages, memories, or a quiet sense of knowing. All of these are natural ways the subconscious communicates.
No. While some people may experience past-life imagery, others may receive symbolic stories, emotional themes, present-life insight, or other forms of inner guidance. You do not need to hold any specific belief system to benefit from the experience.
Not always. Some people do, while others receive information in different ways. The session may focus on symbolism, emotion, inner guidance, or present-life themes instead.
That is very normal. At first, inner impressions may feel like imagination or daydreaming.
Learning to trust those first impressions is often part of the process.
That is completely okay. People process inner experiences in different ways. Not everyone receives information visually. Some people feel, sense, know, or notice subtle impressions instead. The experience does not need to be highly visual to be meaningful.
Most likely, yes. Most people remember much or all of their session. Although older descriptions of hypnosis sometimes create the impression that you will be in an unusually deep state and remember very little afterward, that is not necessary for a meaningful experience. A session can still be powerful, insightful, and successful even when you remain aware and remember it.
People often explore life patterns, relationships, emotional blocks, recurring challenges, purpose, spiritual questions, and deeper self-understanding. Many also come with personal questions they hope to explore through deeper inner guidance.
Many people find these sessions meaningful, clarifying, and supportive on an emotional, personal, or spiritual level. They are not a substitute for medical or mental health care, but they may offer insight, perspective, and a deeper understanding of what you are moving through. The insight received in a session often complements your bodies own natural restorative abilities.
It can help to come with an open mind, a list of questions or intentions, and a willingness to relax into the experience without forcing anything to happen. Often, the most meaningful insights emerge naturally when the mind is calm and open.
Not in the way many people imagine. What matters most is your ability to relax, follow the process, and allow your experience to unfold naturally. Meaningful sessions can happen in a variety of ways.
That is very common. There is no perfect way to do this. You do not need to force images or make anything special happen.
The process works best when you simply allow the experience to unfold in its own way.
Online Session FAQs
Answers to common questions about online sessions, how to prepare,
what you will need, and what to expect.
Absolutely. Online sessions can be just as meaningful and effective as in-person sessions.
Many clients also appreciate the comfort, privacy, and convenience of being in their own home.
For the best experience, online sessions are ideally done using a laptop or tablet, a reliable internet connection, and a quiet, private space. Your device should be plugged in or fully charged, and headphones, earbuds, or a headset with a microphone are recommended whenever possible.
A laptop or tablet is strongly preferred for online sessions. Due to the duration of the session, cell phones may be more likely to lose power, overheat, shift position, or create audio issues. If a phone must be used, it should remain plugged in, positioned securely, and have a stable microphone or headset setup throughout the session.
Once you choose an online session, I will send you a private Zoom link along with more detailed instructions. At the time of your appointment, you simply click the link to join.
That is completely okay. We will set up a brief time before your appointment to test everything, make sure your audio and video are working properly, and work through any issues or alternative equipment needs ahead of time so that your session can go as smoothly as possible.
You may prepare a list of questions or intentions you would like to explore, although this is not required.
You will also want to have your space set up in advance so you can relax comfortably and remain undisturbed for the duration of the session.
Choose a quiet, private, comfortable space where you can fully relax without interruption.
It is helpful to let others in your home know that you will need uninterrupted time, silence notifications, and have anything you may want nearby before the session begins.
If the connection drops at any time, we will simply reconnect and continue.
Yes. Once you choose an online session, I will provide more detailed instructions to help you prepare and make sure everything is set up smoothly in advance.
